About us
Founded in 1981 as an export-import-company for aluminum and alumina products, IndustrieRohstoffe HandelsgmbH has continuously evolved through targeted mergers and strategic acquisitions. The merger of Industriekeramik-Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH and Hungalox Handelsgesellschaft mbH in 1994 led to the formation of Industriekeramik-Hungalox Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH. The subsequent integration of the trading operations of Mineralkontor Rohstoffhandelsgesellschaft mbH significantly expanded our product portfolio.
In 1997, we were renamed IndustrieRohstoffe HandelsgmbH, better reflecting our expanded business focus. Since 2002, we have held a 25% share in EcoloChem Magyaróvár Kft in Hungary, the leading producer of aluminum salts in Central Europe.
With an annual trade volume of over 50,000 tons, IndustrieRohstoffe has established itself as a reliable partner in international raw materials trading. In addition to our overseas business, our geographic focus includes Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe, where we are valued as a reliable partner for quality and expertise.
